Synopsis

Lacy Snow is not looking for love when she meets Dane Braden, but the darkly handsome man who tags and researches sharks for a living sets every nerve in her body on edge, even as her fear of sharks wars with her attraction to him. As founder of the Brave Foundation, Dane travels from port to port advocating for the ocean predators he adores, spending his nights in the arms of strangers and never once expecting to fall in love. Neither of them is looking for a relationship, yet the pull between them refuses to fade. Over more than a year of flirty texts, steamy phone calls, and sensual video chats, a long-distance spark deepens into something real, and when they finally reunite they take their passion to a new level. But Lacy's phobia collides with Dane's freewheeling past, and when tragedy strikes, the two are forced to confront their deepest fears if they want any hope of a future together. It is a steamy, emotional romance about facing what frightens us most for the sake of love, set against the restless pull of the open sea.
