Synopsis

Brianna Heart has a six-year-old daughter, two jobs, and a twelve-year plan: swear off relationships and their drama until her little girl is grown, and be the best mother she possibly can in the meantime. Hugh Braden, a Capital Series Grand Prix racer worn out by media-hungry models and money-hungry fans, is the last man who wants to be set up on a blind date, but he cannot say no to a favor for a good friend. He expects the evening to go badly. What he does not expect is to be knocked flat by the beautiful, brown-eyed bartender who blows him off completely and then steals his every thought afterward. Brianna has no room in her carefully orchestrated life for a famous racer, and Hugh has never had to work so hard for a woman's attention. But when her painstakingly balanced world is turned upside down, Hugh is there to soften the chaos, and maybe to rescue the heart she has kept hidden in a lonely place for far too long. It is a steamy, heartwarming romance about a guarded single mother and the fast-living man determined to earn her trust.
