Synopsis

Small-town overachiever Riley Banks lands the break of a lifetime: a job as a fashion design assistant in Manhattan, working for Josh Braden, the childhood crush who once slipped through her fingers. She arrives determined to make a name for herself and, just maybe, to explore the romance she never got to have. Josh has models at his beck and call and a celebrated holiday clothing line to deliver, and when he hires Riley he expects her to learn the business from the ground up. But the girl next door proves to be far more than he remembered, and their easy friendship soon ignites into something neither can deny. Every kiss deepens a love they did not plan on, until Riley designs a wedding gown so striking it turns heads across the industry, and her own mentor accuses her of stealing the design. Confronted with damning evidence and Josh's sudden mistrust, Riley questions whether she belongs in the cutthroat world of high fashion at all, while Josh is forced to choose between the career he has built and the woman he has come to love. It is a steamy friends-to-lovers romance set against the glamour and pressure of the fashion world.
