Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
Synopsis
Rick Dalton once headlined his own Western TV series; now he's reduced to playing villain-of-the-week roles and drowning his career anxieties in whiskey sours. His stunt double and closest friend, Cliff Booth, carries a reputation as the most dangerous man on any set. Quentin Tarantino's novelization expands his film's world, following Rick and Cliff alongside their real neighbor Sharon Tate and the ex-con Charles Manson, whose hippie followers see him as a prophet while he dreams of rock stardom.
Written with the same darkly comic, meandering energy as the film, the novel digs deeper into 1969 Hollywood's fading studio system and the ominous currents running beneath its glamour.
