Synopsis
Lesley Carver has left the city and come back to Hickory Falls to work the family diner and help her mother. Jamal Gainey is trying to keep the family farm from going under. Neither of them is looking for anything complicated.
Then the mayor decides the town's future depends on becoming a Christmas destination, and that the story needs a couple at the centre of it. Lesley and Jamal agree to pretend, for the town's sake, and spend the season performing a romance in front of everyone who has known them since childhood — including Jamal's sister, Lesley's best friend.
