Synopsis

Minneapolis Deputy Chief Lucas Davenport investigates the kidnapping of psychiatrist Andi Manette and her two young daughters. The kidnapper is John Mail, a former patient of Manette's obsessed with her, once confined to a state institution for the criminally insane. Davenport suspects there is more to the case than a simple obsession, as several people would benefit from Manette's death.
