Synopsis

Jessica has been Daniel's best friend her whole life, and she's finally getting the marriage she's always wanted — just not the way she imagined. Daniel, a widower still grieving the wife he lost two years earlier, wants to become pastor of their hometown church, but the small-town congregation won't call an unmarried minister. Since he needs a wife and Jessica wants a husband and family, she proposes an arrangement that suits them both: a marriage on paper, built on friendship rather than love. As their first Christmas as husband and wife unfolds, what began as a practical bargain starts to feel like something neither of them expected.
