Synopsis

Telepathic waitress Sookie Stackhouse heads to Dallas to help the local vampire nest find a missing member of their community. While she navigates the dangerous politics of the undead, she must also contend with a fanatical anti-vampire cult determined to strike a blow against them. It is a deadly assignment, and Sookie's survival depends on managing both her mind-reading gift and the demands of the powerful vampires who now consider her indebted to them.
