Dead ever after

The body of Sookie's former coworker Arlene is discovered, and Sookie herself becomes a suspect in the murder investigation. With weak evidence against her but a target on her back regardless, Sookie must clear her name while old enemies circle and new alliances form. As Eric's arranged marriage to another vampire complicates their relationship, Sookie also takes a tentative step forward with Sam Merlotte. In the final entry in the series, long-running threads across Sookie's supernatural and human relationships come to a close.
