Charlaine Harris
American mystery and urban fantasy novelist, best known for the Southern Vampire Mysteries (Sookie Stackhouse) series, adapted by HBO as True Blood. She also writes the Aurora Teagarden, Lily Bard, Harper Connelly, Midnight, Texas and Gunnie Rose series. Born in Tunica, Mississippi, she holds a BA in English from Rhodes College and lives in Texas.
