Synopsis

America is fractured by a toxic presidential election, leaving it vulnerable. ISIS seizes the opportunity, kidnapping a French microbiologist to produce anthrax and threatening the U.S. with imminent attack. While a Mexican drug cartel is used as a diversion, the real threat is a deadly virus ISIS found in Yemen, which they plan to weaponize to trigger a global pandemic. Mitch Rapp must infiltrate the cartels and confront the ISIS leader he previously failed to eliminate, all while facing opposition from Washington's political elite.
