Synopsis

Amber is spending her summer in sunny California, hoping to finally reconnect with her estranged mother who runs a children's camp there. But instead of the quality bonding time she pictured, Amber finds herself busy with camp chores while her mother remains distant. When she meets Kyle, an all-American prom king who seems surprisingly interested in her, Amber has to navigate the messy realities of family, first love, and figuring out who she really is.
