Hexes Go Well with Tequila

Ursula Cambridge is thirty-eight, adrift, and living in the Midwest when a magical invitation arrives: a place in the Lost Souls House in Salem, Massachusetts. She packs up her Irish wolfhound, Casper, and goes.

Salem does not welcome her quietly. Four women take her in and teach her what community and magical camaraderie look like, and then one night of tequila and graveyard mischief turns serious when the women wake to find their playful hexes have actually taken hold. Ursula lands in the middle of a modern-day witch hunt, tangled in local politics and in a reluctant attraction to a man who has sworn off women entirely.

Underneath the humor is a centuries-old mystery about ten lost souls, and a story about middle-aged women who have been treated as invisible finding both a found family and themselves. A witchy, whimsical paranormal romp with a strong friendship core.
