Halo: The Thursday War

Halo: The Thursday War continues the Kilo-Five Trilogy less than a year after the Human-Covenant War. ONI's covert team Kilo-Five, led by Serin Osman and including the Spartan Naomi-010, works to keep the Sangheili from reuniting under a leader hostile to humanity, while linguist Evan Phillips is stranded behind enemy lines on Sanghelios after a bombing. The Arbiter, Thel 'Vadam, fights to hold his people together against the rebel cleric Avu Med 'Telcam, even as the captured Jul 'Mdama schemes his way free. Karen Traviss keeps the trilogy's political intrigue and moral ambiguity front and center as both species edge back toward war.
