Synopsis

While hiding out on Earth, Miles Vorkosigan must balance his duties as a Barrayaran officer with his role as Admiral Naismith of the Dendarii Mercenaries. The pressure mounts when he discovers a plot involving a literal double of himself, forcing him to confront his own identity while dodging assassins.
