Synopsis

Philippa Davidson wakes up with no memory of who she is or where she is, only to find a dark Italian man, Corrado Bennoni, by her side. He claims to be her husband, and with her past erased, Corrado sees a chance to prove his love and make Philippa stay. He is determined to win her heart anew, for love alone.

British romance novelist (born Christine Sparks, later Christine Sparks Fiorotto) who published more than 75 novels for Mills & Boon, Harlequin and Silhouette between 1984 and 2017. A former magazine journalist for Woman's Own, she set most of her books in Italy, reflecting her marriage to a Venetian artist. She won Romance Writers of America RITA Awards for Song of the Lorelei (1991) and His Brother's Child (1998). She died in May 2026.
