Flash Vol. 20
Synopsis
The Flash Vol. 20: Time Heist closes out Jeremy Adams' celebrated tenure as the character's writer, collected with artist Fernando Pasarin and a supporting slate of DC talent. The book opens light: Kid Flash is left babysitting Wally West's speedster twins, Jai and Irey, and a sleepover goes sideways, sending Ace scrambling to retrieve the kids — along with Maxine and a few new friends — from across time and space.
The tone shifts sharply when an unspeakable tragedy hits the West family. Wally is joined by Hourman, Mister Terrific, and other DC heroes to unravel what happened, facing down a group of foes led by one of the Fourth World's deadliest villains. The volume also includes issue #800, a milestone for the title, and features guest contributions from Mark Waid, Joshua Williamson, and Geoff Johns as a send-off to Adams' run.
This is a superhero team book built around the extended West family rather than a standalone Barry Allen story — continuity-heavy, and best read as the culmination of Adams' preceding volumes.
