Ro-Busters

Ro-Busters is a classic British sci-fi comic created by Pat Mills and originally published in Starlord before moving to 2000 AD. The story centers on two decommissioned war robots — the gruff Hammerstein and his shark-headed companion Ro-Jaws — who are repurposed for disaster rescue missions across an alternate version of a Cold War era Britain. Blending pulp adventure with dark humor, Mills' writing and a rotating cast of artists (including Dave Gibbons, Kevin O'Neill, and Mike McMahon) created one of the most enduring comic strips in British comics history.
