Fight the Tide is the second book in Keira Andrews's Kick at the Darkness duology, a gay romance set during a zombie apocalypse.

After barely making it across the country alive, Parker and Adam have survived long enough to reach the relative safety of the ocean. The zombies avoid water, so their boat offers shelter, but the few remaining human survivors are not all friendly.

Adam, an orphaned wolf, cannot resist the call of the pack he has always wanted, and hopes to persuade Parker to look at Salvation Island. Parker, who trusts no one but Adam, is dead set against it, and neither of them knows whether the island is a safe harbour or a trap. Andrews finishes the story she began in Kick at the Darkness with the same mix of survival horror, found family and a hard-won happy ending.
