Synopsis

Fence, Vol. 6: Redemption collects issues #1-4 of the Fence: Redemption series, continuing C. S. Pacat and Johanna the Mad's GLAAD Media Award-nominated story of competitive fencing at the elite Kings Row Academy.

After an unexpected defeat, rumors spread through Halverton, the prestigious training camp where the season's top fencers gather ahead of the State Championships. A mysterious new fencer arrives — one who may finally be able to challenge Nicholas Cox for the top spot — and rival-turned-teammate Seiji Katayama finds himself questioning where his loyalty truly lies.

As Seiji gets an up-close look at Nicholas's past and the determination that has carried him through every setback, the two are drawn into a moment that looks a lot like a date, complicating a rivalry that has always run deeper than the sport. Bestselling author C. S. Pacat (Dark Rise, Nightwing) and artist Johanna the Mad (Wynd) continue their acclaimed sports series with another volume celebrated for its warm, unapologetically queer take on teen romance and competition.
