Fall of Ruin and Wrath
Synopsis
Calista is a courtesan in Archwood, one of only nine cities left standing after the gods destroyed the world. Wilderness full of monsters lies between the cities, and each one is ruled by a guardian, a royal who feeds on mortal pleasure.
She was born with an intuition that never fails, and she knows how much that gift is worth to the ambitious. So she hides in plain sight in the Baron's household, trading what she senses for his protection.
When her intuition sends her to rescue a traveling prince in trouble, the same inner voice warns her of both joy and doom. The Baron grows curious about the prince, the prince grows curious about Calista, and she becomes his temporary companion.
Archwood is restless with rebellion, knights and monsters are gathering at the gates, and a hungry prince shares her bed. Calista has to decide whether to follow her intuition to safety or her heart to ruin.
This is an adult fantasy romance with a sensual edge and a tense, dangerous backdrop. The mood is charged and immersive, with romance and suspense running side by side.
