Dungeons and Drama
Musical-theater lover Riley has big plans to become a Broadway director, and step one is saving her high school's spring musical. But when she takes her mom's car without permission, she's grounded and stuck with the worst punishment: after-school shifts at her dad's tabletop game shop. Riley can't waste that time when there's a musical to save, so she talks Nathan — a quiet regular at the shop's Dungeons & Dragons table — into covering her shifts. In exchange, she'll flirt with him to make his gamer-girl crush jealous. Riley didn't realize that meant joining Nathan's D&D campaign — or that role-playing would be this much fun. Soon flirting with Nathan starts to feel like a lot less acting than she planned.
