Synopsis

With Dani missing, Cal's mind begins to fray — Dungeon Cores aren't built to function alone, and the traps and monsters he creates grow darker and less predictable without her steadying influence. Dale, meanwhile, is pulled deeper into the adventuring world's politics, trading personal cost for the kind of power that might let him protect what matters to him. A rising necromantic threat draws both of them into a conflict far larger than their private rivalry, one that pushes Cal toward choices that blur the line between protector and monster. The third book in the Divine Dungeon series drives its dual leads toward a breaking point.
