Synopsis

Ten years after Simone Payton broke his heart, all Roscoe Winston wants is a doughnut. He would also like to forget her entirely, but that is never going to happen: Roscoe remembers everything, every look, every word, every unrequited second, and the last thing he needs is another memory of Simone. Unfortunately, after one chance encounter she keeps turning up wherever he happens to be.

Ten years after Roscoe dropped out of her life, all Simone wants is to exploit him. She would also like some answers about why her former best friend ghosted her, but if she never gets them, that is fine. Simone let go of the past a long time ago. She is definitely not still thinking about Roscoe. But first, she needs one teeny-tiny favour.

Dr. Strange Beard is a full-length romantic comedy that can be read as a standalone, and is the fifth book in Penny Reid's Winston Brothers series.
