Beard Necessities

Beard Necessities is the seventh full-length novel in Penny Reid's Winston Brothers series, a contemporary romantic comedy centered on Billy Winston and Claire "Scarlet" McClure. The two were torn apart by cruelty and circumstance almost twenty years earlier, and the book follows their reunion after Billy's well-meaning family engineers a trip that throws the star-crossed pair together again.

The story unfolds as the couple travels through Tuscany, the catacombs of Rome, and the waterways of Venice, with the Winston siblings' matchmaking schemes keeping them in each other's orbit. Told with Reid's signature humor, it can be read as a standalone but is best enjoyed after the earlier books in the small-town Winston Brothers series.
