Der Libellenflüsterer is the seventh volume in Monika Feth's Spiegel-bestselling Erdbeerpflücker (Jette Weingärtner) thriller series.

Jette's friend Merle, an animal rights activist, begins researching an article on animal cruelty and is confronted with a case from her own past: a dog she once rehomed that was later killed under horrific circumstances, with the new owner charged but ultimately acquitted for lack of evidence. When their paths cross again, Merle uncovers a secret far more dangerous than the original case suggested.

Told through multiple perspectives — Jette's first-person narration, police commissioner Bert Metzig, the perpetrator, and the perpetrator's daughter, who speaks constantly to her doll — the novel builds its tension through a fractured, multi-voiced structure typical of the series.
