Das Berghotel 101

Franziska runs a successful tailoring business in Munich, but her evenings are lonely. She's been secretly in love with her handsome neighbor Alexander for a long time, but he never seems to notice her, and she's too shy to say anything. When her spirited friend Gisela talks her into attending a flirting seminar in the Zillertal, Franziska reluctantly agrees — and is stunned to find that Alexander has signed up for the very same seminar in St. Christoph.

Alexander, though, reacts to her with unexpected coldness and makes clear he wants nothing to do with relationships. Franziska tries everything to break the ice, unaware that Alexander is hiding something of his own. At one low point, a desperate Franziska gets lost in the forest during a snowstorm.

"Das Berghotel 101" is an installment of "Das Berghotel – Liebe und Schicksal in St. Christoph," Bastei Lübbe's long-running Heimatroman series set around a mountain hotel in the fictional Zillertal village of St. Christoph.
