Synopsis

Captain Will Laurence and his dragon Temeraire are pulled from their exile in Australia to help the British government navigate a diplomatic crisis in South America. As Napoleon's influence spreads to the African Tswana empire and into Brazil, the pair must face political suspicion and shipwreck to secure a vital alliance. Their journey tests the limits of duty and honor as they fight to protect their crew and country in a world at war.
