Chase Me in the Woods

Chase Me in the Woods is a sapphic retelling of Little Red Riding Hood set among Ireland's freed fae. After trauma drives her into hiding in a remote woodland cottage, the protagonist begins turning to a red wolf for protection whenever her past catches up with her — only to learn the wolf is the shifted form of the Morrígan, an ancient Irish goddess willing to destroy anyone who threatens her.

The romance is a slow burn, building as the Morrígan's protective instinct becomes something more, against a backdrop of fae reasserting their power after being freed from behind the Veil. It's the first book in Ali Williams's Unleashed Fae series, a sapphic godstouched romance line pairing Irish mythology with shifter romance tropes.
