Synopsis

Thorn is a prisoner of the Dragon Empire, and his abilities have been sealed away. Rather than wait for whatever they intend for him, he throws in with the other captives and starts working the problem: an ever-shifting labyrinth with an exit somewhere inside it.

The further in they get, the more he uncovers about where he actually is and who put him there, until it becomes clear the escape is only part of what is being asked of him. By the end he understands it is time to take up the mantle of Challenger of the Tower.
