Synopsis

The third Tower book picks up with Thorn and Velin facing a choice: stay hidden among the Deva, or take the harder road that asks for everything the two of them can do together. With a team assembled in a hurry, they start climbing the tower's floors, and find the connection between them runs deeper than either had understood. Old friends turn up alongside new enemies, and Thorn learns that the upper worlds run on the schemes of ancient factions, where being strong enough to shake the world is not the same as being safe from them.
