Brewed with Love
Synopsis
Sage Bishop is a plant witch who plans to run her family's apothecary, Bishop Brews, one day. Until her nana hands it over, the doors have to stay open, so Sage spends her hours perfecting a tonic she hopes will put the shop on the map.
The last thing she wants is a distraction, and the shop's newest hire is exactly that: Ximena Reyes, her ex-best friend and her first crush. One look at Ximena's cheeky smile sends Sage running out of the shop. While it sits unguarded, a thief breaks in and takes the tonic she has been working on, a brew that wipes the memory of the high school cheer captain.
With the shop now at risk of being shut down, Sage reluctantly teams up with Ximena to track down the culprit. The pair work the mystery together, and old feelings stir along the way. Sage keeps replaying their first kiss, and the way Ximena ghosted her afterward.
This is a cozy sapphic romantasy for a teen audience, with a second-chance romance at its center. Magic potions, a quirky town and a light, witchy mood set the tone, and the mystery gives the romance a steady push. The question that drives it is whether Sage can hold out against Ximena's charm or let it win her over a second time.
