Synopsis

Continuing the psychological horror serialized in Big Comic Superior, this sixth volume follows Seiichi Osabe as he flees his stepsister Fukiishi and returns to the family home, hoping for safety and reconciliation. But the Osabe household is not so easily escaped: as the family reassembles into something resembling normalcy, the cost of that reunion becomes clear, and Seiichi is pulled deeper into his mother Seiko's suffocating orbit. Shuzo Oshimi's slow-building study of a mother-son relationship curdled into something monstrous keeps tightening its grip in this volume, with the family's uneasy reconciliation setting up further psychological conflict ahead.
