Synopsis

Inspector Thomas Lynley goes undercover to investigate the drowning of a wealthy businessman's nephew in the Lake District. While the local police ruled it an accident, Lynley and his colleagues soon find a family drowning in their own scandals and hidden agendas. Every member of the Fairclough dynasty has something to hide, making the truth harder to find than the killer.
