Synopsis

Nicholas Jenkins navigates the eccentric social circles of 1930s London, beginning with a visit to the bohemian salon of Lady Molly Jeavons. As he observes the shifting alliances and romantic entanglements of his peers, he finds himself drawn into a world of gossip and social climbing. This fourth installment of A Dance to the Music of Time captures a society on the brink of change through sharp observation and dry wit.
