American Sniper is Chris Kyle's memoir of his four tours in Iraq as a Navy SEAL sniper, officially credited with more confirmed kills than any other marksman in U.S. military history. Kyle recounts the raids, urban combat and long watches of his deployments to Fallujah, Ramadi and Sadr City, while his wife Taya's own sections describe the strain of repeated deployments and his difficult readjustment to life at home.
