Synopsis

The final book in the Divergent trilogy takes Tris Prior and Tobias "Four" Eaton beyond the boundaries of the only world they have ever known. With the faction system in ruins and the city torn by rival powers, they join a group determined to leave Chicago and discover what lies outside the wall.

What they find upends everything they believed about their society, their history, and themselves. Confronted by a shattering truth and forces far larger than any faction, Tris and Four must decide what they are willing to sacrifice for the people they love and the future they want to build. Told in alternating first-person voices, Allegiant deepens both characters as the stakes reach their peak.

Veronica Roth brings her global bestselling dystopia to a bold and divisive conclusion, wrestling with questions of identity, freedom, and sacrifice.
