Synopsis

99 Days with You is an emotional contemporary love story by Catherine Miller. Emma has spent her life caring for others — her ailing mother, the patrons of the library where she works — and has never let herself truly live. Nathan is her opposite: a skydiving instructor who leaps out of planes for a living, haunted by a recurring conviction that his time is running short.

The two strangers meet in a hospital waiting room, each frightened and alone, and make a pact not to waste a single hour. As they help one another through an uncertain ordeal, they set out to do the things neither has done — first kisses, small adventures, ordinary wonders — and fall unexpectedly, deeply in love, knowing that goodbye may come far too soon.

Heartbreaking yet ultimately uplifting, this is a story about the redemptive power of love and the idea that the end need not really be the end. It will appeal to readers of emotional women's fiction who want to be moved.
