Secret Projects

Secret Projects are the novels Brandon Sanderson wrote outside his announced schedule and published through his own Dragonsteel Entertainment. The first four, written largely during the COVID-19 pandemic, were revealed in a March 2022 Kickstarter and released quarterly across 2023 — a year his readers dubbed the "Year of Sanderson". Later entries have arrived through subsequent crowdfunding campaigns. Each book stands alone and each has its own tone: most are set in the Cosmere, the shared universe behind Mistborn and The Stormlight Archive, while The Frugal Wizard's Handbook for Surviving Medieval England sits outside it entirely.
