Frequently asked questions

  • Does Wings complete the Bromeliad Trilogy?

Yes. Wings is the third and final novel of the Bromeliad Trilogy (Truckers, Diggers, Wings). It resolves the trilogy's central questions about Nome origins and what happens next.

  • Is there a fourth Bromeliad novel?

No. Terry Pratchett confirmed the trilogy is complete and did not write further Nome novels.

  • What is the Nome satellite?

The satellite is established across the trilogy as the original spacecraft that brought the Nomes to Earth — their ancestors were space travellers who crash-landed and became stranded. Wings follows Masklin's attempt to reach it and communicate with whatever civilisation they came from.
