Synopsis

Chart-topping country singer Skylar Stone is drowning in bad press and burnout, so she escapes to the rugged mountain town of Rose Hill to disappear for a while. What she doesn’t plan on is Weston Belmont — a gruff, rugged horse trainer and devoted single dad whose easy charm hides a careful heart. As Skylar hides out and Weston keeps his guard up, the two slide from wary neighbors into something closer, one bit of banter and shared vulnerability at a time. The second Rose Hill novel is a small-town, single-dad, friends-to-lovers slow burn with plenty of warmth and humor, set among the same close-knit cast that anchors the series being adapted for Prime Video.

  • How is Weston connected to Wild Love?

Weston (West) Belmont is Rosie's brother and Ford Grant's best friend from Wild Love, so Wild Eyes continues the Belmont family's story.

  • Is Wild Eyes part of the series Prime Video is adapting?

Yes. Wild Eyes is part of the Rose Hill series, which Prime Video ordered to series in 2026.

    Single dad, celebrity-in-hiding, small-town forced proximity, friends-to-lovers, and a grumpy-sunshine slow burn.

  • Is Wild Eyes steamy?

    Yes — it's an open-door contemporary romance.

  • Do the Rose Hill books need to be read in order?

Each Rose Hill novel is a standalone romance for a different couple, but the small-town cast overlaps heavily, so starting with Wild Love and reading in order is recommended.

  • Do I need to read the previous books in the Rose Hill series to understand this story?

While this book is the second installment in the Rose Hill series, it focuses on a new central couple and can be read as a standalone. However, reading the series in order provides additional context for the recurring characters and the community of Rose Hill.
