Synopsis

When a woman is found strangled inside a locked private London garden, the eccentric detectives of the Peculiar Crimes Unit are called to investigate. With no signs of forced entry and the victim's dog missing, Arthur Bryant and John May must solve a bizarre puzzle that soon leads to a second murder in a public park. As political pressure mounts to close the city's green spaces, the aging detectives must race to catch a clever killer before their unorthodox unit is shut down for good.
