Frequently asked questions

  • Do I need to read the Bryant & May series in order?

While each book in the Bryant & May series presents a self-contained mystery, the overarching character development and the evolving relationship between the two detectives benefit from reading them sequentially. New readers can start here, but they will miss some of the established rapport and running gags.

  • What makes the Bryant & May series unique among detective novels?
