Synopsis

To Catch a Suitor is the second book in Sarah Adams's Dalton Family series, a closed-door Regency romance with a modern, breezy tone. Elizabeth Ashburn has loved her best friend, Oliver Turner, for as long as she can remember, but to him she is still "Little Lizzie." Determined to move on, she heads into her debut London Season set on catching the attention of the man Society calls the Unobtainable and quieting her own adventurous heart.

Oliver, for his part, is deeply in love with Elizabeth and convinced a match between them would be a mistake—yet he can't stop rescuing her from one Season mishap after another, or turning up wherever she happens to be. As Elizabeth's pursuit of a proper suitor collides with Oliver's inability to stay away, both are forced to confront feelings they've spent years talking themselves out of.

Published in February 2020, the novel is known for its swoony, low-heat romance and its friends-to-lovers, love-triangle-adjacent tension between Elizabeth and her two suitors.
