Throne in the Dark

Throne in the Dark is the first book in A.K. Caggiano's Villains & Virtues series, a comic fantasy romance for adult readers.

With a demon for a father, Damien Maleficus Bloodthorne's destiny could be nothing but nefarious. With his most vicious spell complete, he stands on the cusp of fulfilling the evil inevitability that all of his dark machinations have led to.

Then a tiny yet troublesome thief calling herself Amma completely upsets the plan. A piece of misfired magic chains her to his side, forcing him to drag her across the realm, and the indignity is compounded by the fact that the nauseatingly sweet Amma keeps proving herself useful on his unholy crusade.

Worse, she proves herself the source of something even more sinister: feelings.

A slow-burn romance between two people with nothing in common, played for laughs. Contains mature themes.
