There's No Way I'd Die First
Seventeen-year-old Noelle Layne runs her school's horror movie club and knows every trope, every warning sign, and every survival tactic the genre has to offer. Hosting an elaborate Halloween bash on her family's estate, with top school influencers like singer-songwriter Archer Mitchell on the guest list, seems like the perfect way to boost her social standing.
The trouble starts when the low-budget clown she hired for a round of tag turns out to have plans of his own. When the first body is found, the clown reveals he intends to take out every guest, and Noelle has to put her horror-movie knowledge to real use to survive the night, while the party's secrets and the guests' buried class and race tensions surface along the way.
