Wedding coordinator Carolina "Lina" Santos was jilted at the altar three years ago — by a groom whose brother, marketing consultant Max Hartley, delivered the bad news and never quite made up for it in her eyes. Now Lina and Max are forced together again: both are competing for a career-making assignment with a luxury hotel client, and the job requires them to pitch as a team. Professional rivalry curdles into something else as the two spend five weeks working in close quarters, trading barbs and slowly reconsidering everything they assumed about each other.
