Synopsis

Moscow has been struck by disaster, and its people are searching for someone to blame. Vasya finds herself alone, beset on all sides, while the Grand Prince — set on a path toward war — chooses allies she cannot trust, and a demon stronger than ever moves to spread chaos through the city.

Caught at the center of the conflict, Vasya discovers surprising truths about her own history and the price of the power she carries, as she tries to save Russia, Morozko, and the magical world she has come to cherish. Old bonds are tested and new ones forged as the trilogy moves toward its close.

Closing installment of the Winternight Trilogy, this book widens the story's stakes from a single village to the fate of Rus itself.
