Synopsis

The BBC's 1981 Radio 4 full-cast dramatization of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Two Towers, adapted by Brian Sibley and Michael Bakewell with music by Stephen Oliver. The Fellowship is broken: Merry and Pippin are carried off by orcs, Frodo and Sam press on toward Mordor with the creature Gollum as an unwilling guide, and Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli ride to Rohan as war with Saruman approaches.
