The trophy wife

London, a Trinidadian immigrant, is given away by her father to settle a debt and married off to a man who parades her as an ornament while keeping her cold and controlled behind closed doors. When Kalil, a street-smart hustler, refuses to let her push him away, London has to decide whether the danger of leaving is worse than the life she's already trapped in.
